If any utilities are in tenant's name, then these utility bills must remain in tenant's name, until eight (8) days past the lease expiration date. At no time during the lease should any utilities be disconnected. If, during the term of the lease agreement utilities are taken out of tenant's name, a $200.00 charge will be assessed and landlord will have the service terminated. Any final utility bill not paid by tenant upon lease expiration will be deducted from the security deposit. See Lease Page 1, Section 7.
Please don’t forget to forward your mail to your new address. Any mail left in the mailbox after you move out gets returned back to the post office. This may cause a delay in receiving your mail. We have mail forwarding packets inside our office or you can log onto www.usps.com to change your address.
MOVE OUT CHECKLIST:
We strongly advise that you review the Move Out Checklist when moving out. This list provides what is expected during your move-out to ensure you receive all or most of your security deposit. You may find the Move Out Checklist also named Check Out Procedure on page 4 of your Lease or you may pick up a copy at our office.
MOVE-OUT BY 11:59 P.M. OF YOUR LEASE END DATE:
There is a 11:59 p.m. deadline on the day of your move-out. If you are not moved out by 11:59 p.m., there is a late move-out charge of $60/per hour. You may also be responsible for any additional costs that we incur due to the tardiness of your move out.
